I was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in the northwest suburb of Lake Zurich, IL. After high school I moved to southern California and lived in San Diego for over 10 years. I Began my college career there and graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Journalism and media studies.

Computer science has always interested me and I began studying web development in 2015. I began as a self-taught developer and recently completed the Actualize coding bootcamp in Chicago, IL. I am proficient in Javascript and Ruby languages and object oriented programming.

My skill set includes but is not limited to:

  • git version control software
  • Rails
  • PostgresSQL
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • React
  • Vue.JS
  • RSpec and Test Driven Development

My progress as a web developer can be attributed to my passion for problem solving and creating solutions. I am not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. I am eager to learn new computer languages and technologies to add to my skill set. I am always looking to get involved in new projects and collaborate with other web developers.

Photography is a hobby of mine for the last 20 years. My photography has been published in both print and digital media publications to include typicalculture.com, Thrasher magazine and Transworld skateboarding. My client list includes SRH clothing and Birdhouse skateboards.

I also love to paint and draw. Art is a form of problem solving for me and I get a great sense of satisfaction from it.
